Cecil Banuelos is the founder and creative force behind Cane & Cavallino. Born in Los Angeles and now based in Maastricht, his passion for art, horses, and dogs led him to Italy, where he immersed himself in leather craftsmanship and design. Inspired by European art and culture, he created a brand that translates loyalty, strength, and beauty into luxury leather bags.
After his studies and work experience in Parma, France, and Germany, Cecil Banuelos expanded his creative vision through photography and graphic design. His travels to Japan and South Korea gave him new perspectives on design and entrepreneurship. In 2020, he founded Cane & Cavallino with the mission of bringing Italian craftsmanship and luxury leather bags to a global audience while building a brand that goes beyond fashion.
Our collections are designed and entirely handcrafted in Florence. We collaborate with local leather artisans and consciously choose sustainable materials.
